Everything you need to know to burn your candles safely 

To get the best and safest experience from your MRC candle, please follow these simple care instructions:

1. Naked candles
If you have purchased a naked candle, always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface before lighting.

2. First burn
For candles in jars, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar during the first burn. This helps create an even melt pool and prevents tunnelling during future burns.

3. Never leave a candle unattended
Always keep a burning candle within sight and extinguish it before leaving the room.

4. Trim your wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm. This helps your candle burn more evenly and reduces excess soot and smoke.

5. Keep away from children & pets
Always keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

6. Burning time
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.

7. Never move a lit candle
Always extinguish your candle and allow the wax to cool and solidify before moving it.
